RAJA AVILA

I am a mother of two in love with my king, stepmother of five, and the founder of Sacred Sisterhood Embodiment Coaching. As an embodiment coach, Islamic spiritual healing practitioner, Ayurveda practitioner, and yoga instructor, I have always been drawn to understanding the human being as a whole.

Originally from Colombia, I grew up in a Catholic family and earned a degree in International Business, later building a career managing a multinational company. Since childhood, I have been captivated by the beauty and power of the unseen and the magnificence of Allah’s creation. My passion for spirituality, self-discovery, and the mysteries of the heart and the human being led me to explore many religions until Allah guided me to Islam, where I found the beauty, peace, and healing my heart was seeking. I immersed myself in the study of the nafs, the heart, and the soul, and the healing power of Allah’s Divine Names.

For many years, I believed love was not meant for me. I carried the invisible weight of codependency, rooted deeply in my culture, always searching for someone or something outside of myself to complete me. What I did not realize was that I was distant from compassion and love for myself and even further from truly embodying the love and mercy of Allah, not just knowing it in my mind. After my divorce, I began unraveling and discovering a new version of myself , finally getting in touch with my femininity, leaving behind the walls of performance and control, and opening my heart to softness, forgiveness, and receiving what Allah has created for me. I embraced acceptance of what it means to be a woman and discovered the beauty of truly becoming one.

Today, I help Muslim women restore harmony in their marriages as they understand how to complement each other in their relationships, just as Allah has destined by divine decree. My work guides women to reconnect with their fitra and embrace joy, softness, and intimacy through a blend of prophetic wisdom, holistic sciences, and somatic practices. In my free time, I love to dance, spend hours enjoying the natural scents of the world around me, paint, and explore creativity as an expression of gratitude to the One who created beauty.

WHAT SETS ME APART

  • 01/ From Mind to Heart to Soul

Alhamdulillah, our faith overflows with knowledge. Yet the heart longs for more than concepts. Here, understanding travels beyond the intellect, settling into the body until remembrance becomes a living prayer.

  • 02/ Healing at the Root

Techniques alone cannot soften a heart still guarding old wounds. Together we tend the soil beneath—worth, trust, surrender—through constant remembrance of Allah and the Divine Names as spiritual remedy, so every practice can take root and flourish long after the lesson ends.

  • 03/ Walking with the Prophetic Light

Every teaching is drawn from Qur’an and Hadith, illuminated by the women who walked beside the Prophet ﷺ. Their stories guide us toward a femininity that is gentle and radiant, a womanhood beloved by Allah.

  • 04/ A Path of Divine Design

This work invites your whole being—mind, body, and soul—into dhikr, movement, and quiet listening, until you taste what it means to let go and let love in, to return to the fitrah where Allah’s mercy is already waiting.
